Lightweight and compact, the Tamron 35mm is only 2.5 inches (64mm) long and weighs less than half a pound. The 67mm filter diameter is the same as most other Tamron lenses for Sony E-mount cameras, so polarizers and lens caps can easily be shared.

One aspherical lens element and one Low Dispersion (LD) element in the Tamron 35mm f 2.8 Di III OSD work together to help maximize color quality and image accuracy by minimizing chromatic and spherical aberrations, color fringing and other distortions. Lens surfaces are treated with Tamron’s proprietary Broad-Band Anti-Reflection (BBAR) coating, helping to preserve a crisp image quality while reducing ghosting and flaring.

With a Minimum Object Distance (MOD) of 5.9 inches and a magnification ratio of 1:2, the Tamron 35mm f 2.8 Di III OSD lens allows for close-up shooting to capture dramatic, wide-angle perspectives and beautiful detail from edge-to-edge.
